 Santis HSE Group / Lowther Rolton oversea first shipment of pipe rack modules
and heaters for the BP Whiting Refinery Modernization Project

The first shipment of key components for the modernization of BP’s Whiting Refinery were loaded and shipped from AG&P fabrication yard in the Philippines during the week June 1 through June 5. Mal Coates Santis CEO and LR Director teamed with BP site Manager Ian Moncur, Santis QA/QC Manager Ray Canallus, Foster Wheeler Heavy lift Engineer Doug Ferguson, A.L.E transport engineers, Combi-Lift Marine Group and AG&P engineering, yard and maritime crews to complete the loading, fastening and sail away of the first shipment from the Philippines to the Whiting Project located in Indiana USA. The journey is expected to take approximately 43 days from Batangas to Whiting Indiana.

Santis HSE Group and Lowther –Rolton have been involved in the Whiting Modernization Project for approximately 18 months and will continue through to its completion around 2012 – 2013.
