Training Methodology
The comprehensive Managing Safely training is delivered through:
· PowerPoint presentation featuring state-of-the-art animation
· Clips and films to demonstrate key concepts
· Clear workbook with sections for notes and Q&A sessions, and plenty of simple, custom-designed illustrations
· A board game and quizzes to bring health and safety to life and maximise interactivity
· Practical assessments – attendees’ understanding of health and safety basicsis evaluated using multi-format questions, a hazard-spotting exercise and a real-life risk assessment from their workplace.
Who Should Attend
Managing safely is for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organization. It’s designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.
Pre-Requisites
Training is in English but translation into other languages may be available on request. Organisations booking a dedicated in-house training may provide information on their procedures, permit to work arrangements, etc. to ensure that the training is aligned to their expectations and requirements.
Certification
On successful completion of the training attendees will be issued with an internationally recognised and respected IOSH training certificate.
