On successfully completing the course, attendees
· Will be able to assess the condition of a person suffering from illness / injury
· Perform basic first aid to prevent deterioration of condition
· Perform CPR / rescue breathing to preserve life until the arrival of medical professionals
Training Methodology
A mixture of taught sessions, interactive group discussions and practical demonstration of techniques will be used to achieve the desired aims of the training. The practical exercises will be customised as per company’s first aid equipment and procedures.
Who Should Attend
· Personnel nominated by the organization to perform first aid duties
Pre-Requisites
Training is in English and attendees are required to have school leaver grade literacy skills. Organisations are requested to provide information on their emergency arrangements to ensure that the training is aligned to their expectations, equipment and procedures.
Certification
On successful completion of the training and written test, attendees will be issued with a unique-numbered Santis training certificate and internationally recognised First Aid certification.
